Asallam walaikum, there a reason for it. If u notice any watch with any other time set, it won't make u feel attractive, wanted or welcoming. Reason for almost all watches to its hands at '10:10' is because it is a smile. Watch is smiling at you. By nature human heart n mind feel safe n trusted when someone welcome or greets u with a smile.
So the sole purpose of setting watches to that time is that they make you feel friendly, safe n welcoming.
