Cardigans - Hijab Style

Sorry I have not been able to post recently, I'm bogged down with university at the moment and all the work that comes with it.. But there's always time for a spot of shopping! Here's a cardigan I recently purchased from Firetrap, I love it as it's so modest but stylish at the same time:

It's great because it's long and covered enough to just about let you get away with wearing skinny jeans without confusing people with that ever popular headscarf and skin tight clothing combo..

Here's an outfit idea:

That's a really cute long cardigan! I wish those things were easier to find here in the states.

So cute!! I absolutely looove long dusters/cardigans like this one...but like the other ladies said, they are hard to find here in the U.S.
Depending on your budget though, you should definitely check out www.softsurroundings.com they have a few nice long cardigans made out of different fabrics that are beautiful...and GREAT quality! Kind of expensive though, but they last!

I like that cardigan too. At a glance it looks like an abaya.

Salam,
Love this cardigan. I also recently have bought similar cardigan/wrap which is very convenient. I just wrap it on top of my home clothes (usually jeans & t-shirt) and put on a veil. And it's also very practical for breastfeeding moms like myself.

I got mine from Aab (UK), though a bit pricey, it's worth it since I wear it almost daily. You can also check out 'Safra' on Facebook.

Keep on writing, please!

Asalaam alaykom Zaenab,

How are you? Hope the studying is going well.

I sent you an email in response, saying how happy I am that you agreed to write the sections. The first one being the kharijites one.

Anyways, I hope you're still on board.

Btw, I love all the hijab pics.

In Oman I don't really see a tonne of hijab fashion, just abaya fashion, and I am kind of getting rusty on the scarves. Bring on the colour!!!

LOL, I'll try to scan you some abaya pics that you'd never find online and email them to you when I have time at my work.

Salaam, I think the only thing you could do is try to get somebody from the UK to buy it for you and then send it. I'm so gutted it's soo cheap now!!! :(
