Covering Your Chest With Your Hijab

I had a comment from someone who wanted to know how to cover their chest with a hijab, instead of explaining, I think it's easier just to see how it's done. Here's a really nice hijab style that looks great and will cover your chest at the same time; plus all you need is two pins, yay! It's sliiightly long winded but I love the style of the video anyway:

Hope that helped anon :D

thank you thank you thank you!!! i have left questions on a couple other blogs only to go unanswered so i was sooo excited to see your response the next day! i started wearing hijab yesterday and it was a HUGE step for me. i am a revert so my family is christian, my husband's family is overseas and the 1 muslim friend i have does not cover so i don't really know how to pin the scarf yet. when i went out yesterday, i'll be honest i felt a bit frumpy bc i don't have nice modest clothes yet, and my hijab didn't look all that great. im going out today with hubby to buy the summer essentials you posted to start my new summer wardrobe :) anyway this got longer than i intended but i just want to say thank you again and keep up the great blog you have here...im sure you will see me again with more questions haha!

Yes, good videos sis,

Anon: Just play around with your hijab and take some money to invest in your collection. We must love hijab for the sake of Allah but that doesnt mean we cant be stylish and have fun with it. Before recently, when I wore it, I felt like it was a hardship. But then i ordered a bunch of pretty scarfs and pins and stuff and I started having fun with it. Congratulations on wearing it I know how hard it is to start. I will keep you in my duas. Sorry Zaenab to ramble on your blog, :)

salam sister, in singapore, we do have muslimahs with hijabs not covering their chest or loose clothing. It is a good post to raise some awareness on covering ur breasts.

It does look nice and this was a well done tutorial. I'm not comfortable with shaylas yet but you made want to give this a try.

I'm a non-Muslim, and I wanted to try wearing hijab for a while to help create peace, love and understanding. This site is so helpful! Admittedly, I'm a bit lost on how to pin it correctly, but at this point I'm still looking for the right sort of hijab (which style? possibly long face) and underscarf. I know i'll be back here for more reading! I'm a bit nervous that I might accidentally stick myself with the pins; has anyone ever used safety pins?

Stephanie: Bless you, you sound like such a sweetie :) Yes us hijabis use safety pins all the time, although I've been wrapping my scarf with no pins for quite a while now. I would highly recommend that you go onto youtube and search "hijab tutorial" and looots of them will come up.
Please please do let me know how your hijab experience goes!! x
