umm i dont think women should hve to wear a uniform hijab. just like thwy dn't make you dye or cut ur hair a certain way for other jobs, you should be able to wear any scarf you'd like. but thats just my opinion
this is hideousi would kill my boss if she made me wear something like this.. literally. jk but seriously, i just threw up a little in my mouth when i saw this.
I don't think it's so bad, really. I don't know how strict the Ikea dress code is, but if it is, like if employes have to have ikea pants, shirt and jacket, then an Ikea hijab is just like any other item of clothing in the uniform. But lots of places only have a top that is from the company where you just have to wear dark pants or something like that. And in those cases, I really think that a Muslim woman should be allowed to wear her own scarf in the uniform colour.
Salam Aleykoum, i think it's great, in Ikea Belgium, we don't have this, but we are allowed to work with a dark blue "pirate" hijab! it's a good start i think
